Back to party planning

After a super fun short vacay to Disneyland (yes, again! hehe) and California Adventure (a first for me!), its back to party planning! Awww yes! Party planning is my therapy! I have a couple major parties in the works so its back to getting my hands busy! LOL! But before I show you a recent invitation I made, here is a picture from my wonderful weekend getaway to the happiest place on earth with the most amazing family I married to....

Here are a few pictures of a train theme invitation I made. The Mommy wanted a simple and sweet invitation so I went ahead and designed a flat using the colors: red, blue and aqua blue. I added the train made by Kelly Lyden, a red or blue backing and a tiny clothespin to clip the personalized name/family of each invitee. In essence of capturing the theme, I made it to look like an train admission ticket.

Hello Kitty Invitations

A good friend of mine, asked me if I can design and make her daughter's 1st birthday invitations. I was super excited and honored! I did a flat invitation incorporating the colors hot pink, orange and apple green. I added a hot pink backing with a rhinestone to add a touch of embellishment. The theme of her birthday is Hawaiian Hello Kitty BBQ! Here is how they turned out!

4th of July 2010

We celebrated Natalie's first 4th of July by hosting a small BBQ in our home with some family.  We had fireworks and a whole lot of grub! Grilled catfish, BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken skewers, corn on the cob, burgers, make-your-own Cali roll, chowmein....and it keeps going. LOL! We ended the night with a spectacular firework show in our street. It was so fun!

Natalie's magazine feature

A while back I had blogged about my daughter's picture being featured in a new baby magazine....well, it's finally happening! Yaaaay! I'm super excited! Her small cameo will be in the Summer/Fall issue. It will be out next month! Stay tune! I don't know how big or small her photo will be....but I don't care. I'm happy she was featured at all.

Fairy Party

Natalie's birthday was magical. Exhausting but surely worth every smile I saw that day. Here is Natalie's party.....
