Motherhood: 10 Things You Didn't Know

1. Natalie sleeps in bed with me and Ryan.
But...soon she'l start sleeping in her own bed once we find our new home. She has fallen off the bed a few times before by mistake but has yet to fall when we're all asleep. Since Ryan and I had Natalie we've become light sleepers and just the feeling of her touch we already wake up. So, I'm not too worried about her getting smashed or anything.

2. I have no desire to go out.
Sometimes I feel guilty going out and leaving Natalie. It just doesn't feel natural or good to leave my baby while Mommy & Daddy  have fun. Natalie is our first priority. Ask Ryan...he can't remember the last time we've had a "date night."

3. There hasn't been a night where she hasn't slept with me and Ryan.
If Ryan and I do go out for a family's birthday or celebration(that is the only exception we make), no matter how late it is, Ryan always takes Natalie from our babysitter (usually my wonderful MIL) and makes sure she sleeps with us. We want to be the first people she sees when she wakes up in the morning.

4. All for Natalie.
My shopping splurge days are over and Im totally okay with that. These days Im thinking about buying diapers, baby wipes, diaper genie bags and all that jazz. And those things do not come cheap. If your a Mom then you know what I'm talking about. lol. I think twice before buying something for myself. Its gotten to the point where Ryan has to literally force me to buy something for me.

5. I take Natalie everywhere I go.
I don't like leaving Natalie. If I can take her, she's right there along with me.

6. I can never take Natalie to get her vaccinations unless her Daddy is with me.
I don't like to see her in pain or cry so hard. So, when it comes to her getting her shots...her Daddy takes her. If I must be there, Ryan has to be there too. Hehehe.

7. Natalie is a total "Daddy's Girl."
When her Daddy is home, she is with him all day! Natalie loves her Daddy.

8. We can never really be on time.
Sounds pretty bad but we can never really be on time now that Natalie came into our lives. We don't follow a set schedule. We follow her schedule. Nothing is more important than Natalie.

9. Natalie is still drinking from the bottle.
Her doctor already asked me to wean her from the bottle but its just too hard. She loves the bottle way too much. So, Ryan and I try to use the cup more often and less bottle. Its a work in progress.

10. Natalie walking yet?!?!
She has made improvement! At 18 months, she has started walking on her own. She is not consistent yet but she'l get there.
